Bendtner on loan?

The only chance we'd have of signing him would be on a permanent transfer and making him our number 1 striker that started every game. Neither of these will happen.

I agree i get the feeling come january when the league is tight we might need a proven striker to dig us out.

Do you agree that Bendtner would be a good idea? I think he could give us that spark for the second half of the season that Donovan gave us. He wasn't even on the bench yesterday after his outburst. If he goes out on loan he's going to be fired up to prove a point to Wenger. That's the sort of desire that we saw in Campbell and Saha when they were playing for a contract. The league is so tight, that his presence, if only from the bench, could help turn draws into wins.

I dont rate him that highly tbh i reckon we need a striker deffo but one different to what we have now, someone with a bit of movement someone like owen would be ideal if he could keep himself fit.

It would be really tough to cheer for the guy...

I understand that he hasn't been playing much, but I don't think that Wenger is willing to loan him out at this point. They will need numbers later on in the season.

His missus is a millionairess....a princess in denmark apparently
Caroline Fleming, a baroness and former wife of one of Ian Flemings grandchildren. As much as I would love us to sign a Danish player(helps with the coverage of our club in DK) Bendter is not the answer. He is so selfhyped that it makes Cashley look like Mother Theresa. Yes he is the best striker Denmark has had since Preben Elkjaer - if anybody remembers him - but he is yet to prove himself in the PL IMO. Yes he is big, strong and knows how to find the goal, but I would rate Yakubu higher any time of the day.
Wenger has come out and said he is injured and he has indeed withdrawn himself from the Danish national team, which plays on Wednesday.
His selfhype and inflated ego will prevent him from joining any non-CL club I think. He used to be loaned out to Birmingham with Larsson and Muamba, and he was the only one who was not interested in coming back for another loan. Larsson and Muamba are now regulars with Brum and Bolton, while Bendter will never be for Arsenal unless both Chamakh and Van Persie is out injured - not unlikely though.
Would rather take another gamble on Vaughan to be honest.
