Bendtner on loan?

Didn't he score against Barca or something.

He had a run in the Arsenal team last season, and scored a fair few important goals from what I remember. So it's not as stupid a suggestion as it sounds.

Luther Blisset. If we can't get the former Watford/AC Milan (still can't believe that one) man, we should go for the anarchist organisation of the same name.

Speaking from the viewpoint of a scandinavian toffee, i'd like to point out the following.

1. Carew is [Poor language removed].
2. Bendtner is a massive tit.
3. However, he certainly is skillful and would arguably fit our system well - he can play upfront alone and did a good job of it at the world cup.
4. I'd say Bendtner has a decent footballing brain. In the danish national team he roams a lot and has a Barca-esque kind of movement in tandem with wingers/players in the hole, a la David Villa.
5. Finishing-wise i haven't seen too much of him, but he has the instinct and can head too.
6. Still, a massive tit.

He can come if he brings his missus

I read that she's 13 years older than him and part of the Danish aristocracy. Nice! If he's 6 ft 5, what's she standing on?

Back to football, he might be a tit, but I think he's got the raw potential to be one of the best strikers in the Premiership.

I'd be OK signing him if we could place a clause in his contract that we can permenantly wire his jaw shut.

I agree with the raw talent thing, as well as the jaw-shutting. Though he has a child on the way with his baroness, so hey, maybe fatherhood and moving to everton will make the kid grow up and get his head in the right place. Who knows. Still, this is all just dreaming and i doubt he'd take the step down to Everton, arguing "hey, i scored against barcelona, scoring against bournemouth in the FA cup is below me!"
