He is 178 cm high and he played for Dundalk games mainly as a right back.. According to their fans he seems to be a nice prototype of a modern right back who is a little bit naive in defence, but he already was the best player of their team. Signed a 3 year contract with us. It seems like we signed a nice talent for our academy. :)

moyes had no knowledge of this signing then. he already has an irish RB who has these attributes and he never plays him at RB, so why would this guy be different?

Good luck to the lad. But when we sign players like this it's hard not to think they're going to be added to the list of names that includes Peterlin, Arnoux Mustafi.....

Some quality, established players required before September or this sqiuad is going to buckle under the workload by the New Year.

Odd, it's usually post new year when we produce our best results.
Then to be fair I wouldn't expect anything remotely positive from you.

TBF some players from the league of Ireland have made the adjustment to the PL in recent years:

Doyle
Long
Hunt
McClean (still bitter about that one)
Keane
Coleman

While our history of brininging Irish defenders across has been good, Dunne, Coleman, Duffy.

The kid has just confirmed he is a pineapple on pizza kinda guy, I have told him that's bad, however he did backtrack and say he wouldn't pick it but would eat it if it was there.....worrying start to his efc career! Seems like a nice lad though

IMO the cost of these punts on low wages makes it well worth taking.

The kid deffo won't be playing CB over here though as 178cm is only 5ft 9in so right back it is.

I wouldn't think we'll see him for the best part of two years though.

Hows this lad coming along? Unless Moyes sees Stones as a CB I cant see this lad having much of a future with us.
