A couple of new players in. An actual forward up top.

And a lot more of this passion from the blues and I cannot help but think that we will have a much better season than Benitez one.

I posted on Saturday, that for me personally at least, the tension & stress around each and every game, following on from last season, has started to weigh heavily. We're pretty much back in must-win territory already.

Can only take it one game at a time, but we need a win, and soon, though from where in the next run of games I find it hard to see.

It's just a huge pity we didn't get a small bit of a bounce already, like Leeds did. Maybe we can turn the tables on them in that respect.
 

Love the optimism, mate. Although, I think lower mid table is the best case scenario for this team, even with some decent additions.
This is more or less how I see it. The goal is 12th-13th and comfortably up. We're probably OK if we paper over some cracks at the end of the window. Goal numbers should be fine with a recognized striker in the lineup, and we're not going to be as shambolic as we were at Brentford at the back all that often.

We should be good for a goal most days, so a decent number of clean sheets keeps us up.
