Ha ha! Yeah, I can believe that!
I like Kingfisher myself but it'd be great if they had an ale on the bar as well, does need to be kept though I suppose. I've been trying to get them to buy bottles of our IPA and a rocket fuel barley wine we do, which is superb with hot curry but they're not having it!
Have you asked them to have a look at one of those gas-kept systems? Where the beer lies under gas rather than air. I know CAMRA turn their nose up at it, but it keeps the beer fresher for far longer and I have never really noticed any difference. Not a bad option if a place struggles to shift a barrel in time.
