You do seem to like those flavoured stouts (as do I, as it happens). Another high alcohol number for a beer though.
I love them too, but as a " sipping " beer, rather than a regular drinking beer.
They remind me very much of some of the Belgium beers.
Well, I have done for a while but to be honest I'm starting to lose my taste for the sweeter ones, the hit for me is dark, strong, bit of a sharp edge.
Every now and then you catch an absolute corker though.
I'm really just permanently intrigued by the variety of flavours that can be teased out of the same basic ingredients.
I've said before, UK barley wines can go toe to toe with the Belgians, we should make more of them
I`m really excited to see where some of the breweries are going to go with mild, as it seems to be coming back onto the map again.
