@Seanjd bought me one of these. At 10.5% it's strong but tasty!

Strong and expensive. Pleasantly surprised when I put it on my cereal.

Founder's All Day IPA session beer. 4.7%, some sessions they have in Michigan!

Dry and hoppy for an IPA but with the right flavour. Very good.

Pole Star Pilsner from Colorado's Left Hand Brewery.
Really excellent, something a bit different about this which is rare for a pilsner, slight bitter honeycomb taste.

I understand the logistics of a 'session' beer but i just dont partake. Rather have some Two Hearted Ales or something instead.

I like the strong, hoppy ales myself - but logistical nightmare is exactly the problem with them. 5 pints in to a session you should be just getting comfortable, not staggering up to the bar with the jake leg.

Back on the homebrew here after a bit of a hiatus. Had an ingredients clear out into a landlord-esque bitter, bottled at the weekend and seems to have done ok. Know for sure in a couple of weeks.

Great thread! Tried this last night for the first time and wasn't disappointed! Sierra Nevada, Chico, California brews this specialty Abbey style Tripel. Much more affordable than the real Trapiste offerings and although not as good, it's pretty damn close.

It's not the most obscure and it has no doubt had a few shout outs, but this is my go-to beer at the moment, lovely stuff.

Another tasty baby from Michigan... Founders Backwoods 'Barsteward'. Hardcore ale aged in oak bourbon barrels. Very sweet, very strong 10.2%. Bordering on hallucinogenic this stuff. Highly recommended

Two Cocks Brewery (quiet at the back!). Leveller Bitter. Very malty and quite dark for low ABV (3.8%). Nice.
