Shouldn't we be hiding him until he signed a pro contract, even the rs are talking about him on the red kop saying he a massive rs and Rafael should go in for him now.

Just read that, and theycan wish all they want, hell stay at Everton, Itll be the same situation with Owen and liverpool, in their academy a blue, turning slowly into a red, the opposite will happen with baxter...

...As for hiding him, He has already been scouted by Chelsea and Utd a couple of times.

but don't think we offered Owen a contract just before he signed pro, where our kid can still sign for them for nothing, we're taking a big risk puting him on show at the moment, i believe the kid is still a massive red today.

Yeah, but he's been at the club for 10 years. There's no way he can feel any hatred for Everton, so its not going to be an easy decision to leave.

If I was a kid and I was an Evertonian and I was at Liverpool since I was 6, I wouldn't hold the same hatred for Liverpool as I do now. At the end of the day its a job, and it pays bills.

Loved the video. Thats my kind of player loves to take on opponents and what a finish. It would seem that he has the tools. Does he have the staying power and durability? You have to think he will get some looks in the Carling Cup this year.

after watching jose looks a real talent , i think the whole red [Poor language removed] fan means nothing ossie was a red as was several [Poor language removed] players everton fans . i just hope moyes doesnt hold him back to much , ala rooney i thought altough moyes is a god he didnt handle him as well as he could .. not a great record with young super talents ...... my first post many more to come all as [Poor language removed] as this

Example?

Everton boss Dave Moyes will be careful with his management of 16 year-old striker Jose Baxter.

He told evertonfc.com: "Jose is a young boy who has been doing all the training the older lads have been doing. We have got to make sure we look after him just now but he could quite easily be in the side on merit."

Baxter was scheduled to link up with England's under 17s following the Forest game, but the size of Everton's squad meant he was required in the USA tour that is currently in Chicago.

"I would have liked him to have gone with England to the Nordic tournament which he was supposed to be involved in," admitted Moyes.

"But he is here with us now and I feel that's right because of our lack of numbers.

"The youngsters have started to grow into things. Maybe now they are starting to limit the amount of mistakes they have been tending to make."

i feel the whole rooney situation was badly dealt with ( again only my opinion)
but it was clear all the fat lad wanted to do was play week in week out moyes would pull him from games when he was flying

Right, so not really fair to see Moyes has had a bad record with youth players. Rooney was an island, he was always going to want to outgrow the club as was then.

But your forgetting that Moyes has promoted Hibbert, Osman, Vaughan and Anichebe.
