No Ghost we are just stating possibilities after all did we not expect that "R" would be playing for many years for us and wearing the no.9 hence no need for AJ, Yakubu?

Admittedly one of the circs of "R" leaving was our finances hopefully Moyes will resist any calls from the management to sell players to build up funds.

If these youngsters are that good and come through it is looking good.
 
Of course it has, the club is on a better footing, still a big chunk of debt but got away from doing a Leeds. There is no doubt that recent signings have been beneficial, we are again up in the upper half not scratching around after 10 games with 4 points to our name worrying will we make 40!

We are not the finished article yet but no team ever is, we are getting closer though.
 
Right, so even more reason to utilise the youngsters we have rather than struggle to make the big money signings. Low risk, and I think Moyes will welcome the star in the making rather than the risky star who may not settle.
 

If one of those players come through and makes a difference then the Youth team is working. Think of Rooney's 20 million as covering the running costs for a few years and then some.

The good news is that the U18s have started on fire and are joint top with Man City with 5 wins and one draw. They play Man City this weekend.
 
and atm it looks like they overpaid for rooney on current form... so much for fergies ability to look after the young lads
 
Fact is IMO going to the manure was the worst thing he could do. His development I think stopped, I believe if he had stayed here would have been more to him, ah well thats the way it goes.
 
Oh there is no doubt that he has not matured into the player he should have turned into. Doesn't stop Clive Tithead ejaculating each time Rooney touches the ball.
 
what it does stop tho , is the ungrateful little fucka ever being able to set foot inside goodison , or lord please deliver us , wherever else . the little [Poor language removed] never scored a hat trick for us . never scored in the fa cup , nor the derby . yet , he doesnt even see out his first contract at his self professed dream club . the same club which removed him from the circumstances whereby he was photographed collecting a team trophy for everton with no toe in his trabs . im not slagging him for bein skint , im slagging him for forgettin so [Poor language removed] quickly what it was like , and how he got outa there . plus , after that on bally's day , he can to go to the [Poor language removed] for all i care . in fact , he can buy the [Poor language removed] . he's a dog . end of . i remember him being the first one round gerrards throat in the naysmith derby.

we have a decade of rooney to look forward too, i suspect shenanigans.

only if he plays well. If he is [Poor language removed] expect him to start every game due to everyone else being injured.
