What an absoloute ******* idiot he is. A 17 year old, playing for one of the biggest clubs in the country, decides to get involved with selling drugs, and some people on him are defending him saying that he is 'only a kid and everyone makes mistakes.' Now I dont know the full story or if it is all true or not, but if found guilty, he should be sacked on the spot. Im not having that he is only a kid, he is 17 years old, old enough to know what is right and what is wrong. Yes he may also hang around with the wrong crowd, but he will have known exactly what was going on and the risks he would be taking if he got caught, yet he still CHOSE to be involved. Its people like him that dont deserve the life they have been presented with.

On a serious point . I now have about 6 /7 mates . Real ones . I used to have more . Many more . Problem is , many , no most , are involved in Drugs , possessing / dealing / using , ... whatthefuk . I'm talking proper long term habits from a desire to be Billy Big Bollox . That's the users , the others are worse . They still buzz of it and , hand on heart will probably recommend it as career option to their own . Can't be certain , but I'd wager .
As I said , I am far from an Angel meself , but , a man's gotta know his limitations , as has been said . Some people never do .
I've heard on here all the , innocent until proven otherwise , but , respectfully , you're missing the point . It's not whether he did it or not . Being with those sort , who most prob were under surveillance , speaks - damning - volumes for me .
It's fukd up . I hope he sees them for what they are now . If he was Joe Schmo , would he have been in the car ???

Im not really in the habit of staring at people that can get you shot, im funny like that, personally I think its a good weakness.

But Baxter could have just been giving these chaps a lift somewhere, I doubt he will get charged with supplying in the end, if these chaps had a lot of stuff it will be pretty hard for him to say I didnt know what it was and if it was green, the police would have been able to smell it from outside the car.

Hes messed up, but we learn from our mistakes, most of us anyway, history is littered with people that dont.

While he's a ******* idiot for doing it, I think some of you are going a little bit overboard.

a) He was dealing weed, not ******* Heroin. I know I'm not the only one on this forum who needs his own dealer, whether you'd admit it or not.
b) He IS only 17. A 17 year old soft lad from Bootle who just happens to be good at footy. I know because you weren't born with the talent you think everyone who gets the chance should be model professionals, but they're not all Jack Rodwells.

Better him doing it now than when he's 20 odd, breaking into the England side and really under the media microscope.

And hey, at least he didn't deck a DJ.
