Top players can take time to adjust to this league let alone developing talent. Barry has developed alot in the last 3 months since he started being our main striker. Hes obviously not the finished article but hes improving and will to continue to improve as long as he keeps getting games.
Although i will say he needs to put some muscle on as hes too light weight at the moment.
And anyone who thinks beto is better then barry needs to have their head checked. Im convinced beto was some form of tax Write off/hush money pay off.

Think it says it all that we expected our strikers to miss, which sums up how bad they both are. Both are at the level of Brett Angel and we didn’t pay nearly 30m for him.
Of course everyone wants young talent that can improve into stars of tomorrow, don’t think anyone wants that at the cost of the absolute dirge we have to watch upfront right now though.
£27m isn’t top dollar of course, but it’s hardly peanuts either, at 23 he should at least look like a capable striker.
If he’s improved over the last few months, god knows what whoever scouted him in Spain saw.
I genuinely hope this post gets thrown back at me in 18months, but he looks dreadful across his 20 appearances so far, and more concerningly, he actions seem more about his social media profile than getting his head down and delivering on the pitch.
He wouldn’t get a game for any of them.
