Who would you rather start?

With the benefit of hindsight we should’ve met DCL’s demands then used the Barry money for two competent full backs, and the Europe push would be very much on.

At the same time this isn’t what I wanted us to do at the time and I think most didn’t so can’t be too critical.

Told anyone who'd listen, and even those who wouldnt this.

The team needed balance and pace. Its needed it for years. We spent more in the summer than the previous 7 years combined but didnt bother our arses to address that.

I remember when we were linked with Dibling asking if he had pace... jeez.

Barry is clearly the better player but isn't a striker for a top half side. Wouldn't look out of place playing for Palace, Leeds or Bournemouth. He's not terrible despite what some say.

Beto has no fundamentals, he just runs. Bang average Championship level. If we get an offer this month then let him go.

Fair assessment

Didn't go today and haven't seen pens, sound grim.

These two aren't up to it, but I honestly think Kane/Haaland/Isak would struggle playing for Moyes.

Just watching the ball sail over your head and players nowhere near when you do get hold of it.

Moyes had 5 months to look at Beto and decided to keep him.

He signed Barry who doesn't look like he's got a single attribute to play up top in a Moyes side - fighting for scraps, making it stick till players get closer, running for 90 mins to close any/everything down.
