Barrett-Baxendale: Champions League isn't a dream. I'm planning for it

..that’s weird, i’ve been saying on here for years that if we are able to become top dogs in our city, the rest will follow.

Best thing is, no one has noticed, unlike last summer. I am quietly confident that we have the foundations of a decent team. With potentially some star dust.

Bring it on, and see how we do, because I am not convinced 4 of the super duper Sky 6 are as nailed on as they may think.

This season? In a playful moment I could certainly paint a narrative why we could.

It's easy to dream, but the others are stronger (at the moment). You never know what can happen but seeing we had a stiff dose of reality last year I think instead of getting hung up on what position we will finish, we just need to play well, hopefully the players enjoy themselves out on the pitch and the rest will take care of itself.

It's great to know we have ambition now, and we talk about it. We shouldn't be afraid to openly say what our plan is and then make it our goal. Brands and Baxendale and others seems to be in the long-term game, which is great news, and we should be happy, positive and optimistic, what's the point otherwise?

They all have different question marks on them. People forget what a long time a season is now. I am gong to wait to see how teams fair once European football kicks in.

Spurs Chelsea and Arsenal are very shaky. Liverpool and United could also have an implosion.
