Barkley's is magnificent.

But i think down to the shear fact that Beckford ran at that defence makes his better for me, he actually picked it up just outside of our box, showed great determination for me. You make your own luck.

Barkley's is boss, but anyone saying.. 'Beckford got lucky', shouldn't forget that Colochini was hot on the tail of Barkley, had he not fell over, which could also be construed as 'lucky', either way, i don't care if it bounces off 200 legs, or they run 100yrds to score, a goal is a goal, and if we win. Great.

Barkey's is much better than Beckford's, but I don't think either are worth talking about in the same breath as Maradonna's.

Beckford's, if for no other reason than when Barkley's career is over I cannot imagine anyone will be thinking about "that goal against Newcastle" when summing up his contribution.

I liked him as well. He was our proxy, living the dream.

Beckford's goal was spawny and he was gash. I said it then and got shredded for it. Barkley is class and his goal was far superior, he ran with a purpose and assessed the options as he went, realizing he's always the best option because he's Boss Rarkley

Barkley. Beckford nearly fell over the ball and got a jammy bounce when he overran it on the half way line. Barkley was always in full control

Coloccini fell, but part of that was due to Barkley's change of direction. He's one of the few players in the league right now who can switch direction at speed - probably his most Zidane-like quality.

Loved Beckford's goal but Barkley's control edges it for me.
