Barkley to go out on loan?

I don't have a problem with this. If we get in the players we want, he will be down in the pecking order.

Moyes recognizes his talent and doesn't want him wasting on the bench. Loan is the right thing to do.

It'll do him the world of good. Playing rezzie football is not great for youngsters as half the players on the field can't be arsed and are just therefor fitness. Being in a starting 11 week in week out can only help the lad and we're not in a position like other teams where we have junk games to blood youngsters. Osman, as said, and Coleman went out on loan and it helped them both.

And Championship football isn't a bad standard at all, this will be a test for Barkley.

It done Osman the world of good when he went to Derby, he came back a first team regular. Hope it has the same effect on Barkley.

The biggest testament that Barkley is not ready for the premiership is the fact that none of the so called rich big clubs have bid for him.

We all love him and want him to succeed and yes play as many games in the first team as possible but you can't blame Moyes or the coaching staff if they don't think he is ready.

i am all for him going out on loan with the stipulation that we can call him back. Moyes knows his first team and what works we all know that and have to accept it whether we like it or not. At least with this he is not letting Barkley rot on the bench like many of us thought he did last season when we needed a spark.

It worked wonders for you Duffy to go on loan and play first team football and he is a sure bet to start more for us soon enough i think.

He's still so bloody young.

Just looked it up, and Beckham wasn't getting proper first team football until he was 21, and he went to Preston on loan aged 20.

I think playing Championship football is a big ask for a 18 year old, but hopefully he is good enough to excel there.
