Funnily enough I've currently got SSN on in the background, and Pellegrini has just said Rodwell is 'back in training'.

I think even if he'd had no fitness problems he'd have struggled to get a game there.

From purely a developing his career point of view, his career has totally stalled. Wouldn't shock me if ended up on loan to a Stoke or a Crystal Palace in January.

His biggest issue is his fitness. That will decide how good his career will be. When you think that we'be effectively traded Rodwell for McCarthy over the last couple of years i think we've done pretty well t I be honest.
