Reading all the posts before the game about us being a graveyard club (newcastle), barcodes, scumcastle made Saturdays result all the sweeter. Thought yous were out fought, our skilled and most importantly out scored. Yous are nothing more than a average club who will never get out of Liverpools shadow.

Ive been then when we totally [Poor language removed], and when we have raised ourselves to just [Poor language removed].

In fairness my point was before the game there was quite a bit quite baffling hatred/dislike for the Toon. Can understand Man Utd, Liverpool, but dont quite see where the dislike for the toom stems from. 99% of our fans know exactly how good we are. We are at best a mid table team, and if we do go down this year or next, it doesnt faze me. Im a toon fan, so cetrainly not in it for the trophy haul our managers deliver to us to an endless basis.

Last few visits down there i have seen a canny bit bother, didnt this time. And for the game itself i think we are as good as yous were bad. I went down fully expecting 2-0, 3-1.

So basically my post was aimed at the people who were far from complimentary before the game, and indeed after. We are a big club, dont care what people say, we are certainly not a sucessfull club, and probably never will be!!

It was a good game,day and night and met a good number of canny bluenoses and for them i do wish you all the best. Proper football team, and for the geordie haters the result just made it a nice experience for once

I'd like to hear your opinion on the relative strengths of our clubs at the end of the season when you finish 16th or lower, 10 places and 20-odd points behind us.

had to sit in a pub in berwick there where 5 blues in and it was heaving with barcodes and the sh*t we took at the end was a nightmare and i had to look at my smug faced son-in-law all day sunday (all he kept saying was wonder goal), so drank myself into a stupore and chased him round the house but hes much quicker than me and managed to escape out the house and down the road to saftey now ive still got a hangover and im up sh*t creek with everyone except my son whos a die hard blue and was encoraging me on, i know i was wrong but the real moral is dont let your daughter marry a fkin geordie
