Did we really need to add profanity in our chant? Surely "Premier League, Corrupt! Corrupt!" Keeps the same cadence, sends the exact same message, but is 1) family friendly and so 2) can be mentioned word for word by commentary, analysis, etc.?

Seems like a missed opportunity.

Talking point, and it worked. The commentators reffered to it and said it was fans protesting the 10 point deduction. They never mentioned the protest before the match, or the banners, there wasn't even coverage of the players walking out and shaking hands, the TV coverage started at kick off. So from a live TV coverage perspective, it had more effect than all the pre match stuff
