clattenburg to ref the man ure vs inbreds games.

lets see sir alfonce and his FA cronies deal with that.
According to the Liverpool Echo we should forget about it Just another example of the bias in favour of the fat Spanish waiters team this from Dom King alleged Everton fan

Well having read through your response Bill, and picking my words equally carefully, yes on this occasion I am a very sore loser and with very good reason. I find it stunning that you act as judge and jury in this matter, what on earth makes you think for one minute that the FA will ban him for life based on that petition, not a cat in hells chance and I've said that all along if you care to read through these threads. What I do say, as mentioned above, is the strongest charge must be demanded by the fans to even ensure that some action is taken by the FA. Why don't you start 'a give Clattenberg a slap on the wrist' petition and see how many sore losers would sign up to that.

I am more than happy with the wording of that petiton, as are the thousands of fellow sore losers (2225 at last count) including a class eight referee

george farr

im a level 8 referee, he is awful and weak. the premier league is suffering because of all these errors. it costs points and all these lost points that should have been points all add up at the end of the season and can be the difference between champions Chelmsford

David Moyes covered himself by having John Barnwell with him when he told Clattenberg some home truths, and I understand that there is more to come out about this but the FA won't pursue it

I am proud we sore losers who live with the gloating vermin have taken this action because we are at least trying to ensure that it doesn't happen again, what about you looking down on us all from your ivory tower. What I do find extraordinary is the very fact that you assume that he could be found guilty as charged hence your reluctance to sign........I know he wont, as do most who have sign the petition but at least we will have been heard, will you?

Hey, to each his own.

As for ivory towers, all I've said is this:

1) I would not sign a petition to ban him for life.

2) I would sign a petition that would punish him for a set amount of matches based on his game performance.

3) I would sign a petition that asks for a full investigation into the particulars of the match and his previous/current association with the reds.

I made a case as for why I wouldn't sign to have him banned for life. Simple really. Something about precedents comes to mind.

However a few felt that the "over the top" reaction was the best course of action. Good for them. Just not my cup of tea in this case.

I agree with you in general!

Ok the guys looks bias but that shouldn't get him ban for life (may be ban him from official from any future Liverpool matches is better), and ban him a set of matches is not a bad idea to punish him and a full investigation would be welcome!

But you must have read a most recent reply from the P.L. explaining each incident, I didn't like the part saying what Kyut attempt and the ref, has punish him at the time, so F.A. couldn't do anything afterward to upgrade or downgrade the yellow card!

What happen if a similar tackle happen again by this time is slightly connected, and the player is injure and cannot carried on with match but full extent is not known until later, and the ref. felt it was not intentional so a yellow card is awarded, later the player is out with minimum 3 months and the F.A. or P.L. couldn't upgrade or downgrade a yellow card since the ref. dealt with it at the time, I think rule should be change on that, with incident like this new punishment should be allow to be apply by them!

Let's look at another way, someone was hurt badly by another person and has gone into comma due to that and the court has sentence the guys to 15 years for manslaughter, but later that person has died while in comma, how would the family feel the person would not be punish more after the guy died from the incident!

I know this incident is on a different scale to the one we are talking about but going into someone like that, whether or not it is intentional or not, is dangerous and should be red carded!

Let's talk about other incident, like Gerrard, honestly how much contact is made with Hibbert, first he was looking for it and second no way with next to nothing contact would cause him to fall and defender is perfectly entitle to force him to slow down or pressure the attacker away from the goal, did you see Gerrard face and the way he fall? oh come on you just don't fall down so smoothly, is not as though a defender is having a one-on-one with the attacker and the guys got past him and the defender stick out his foot and stop him or slow him down, and he is perfectly entitle to fall down like what Gerrard did the other day, you should have watch the match against Arsenal on Sunday, how there player trying to diving to get a P.K.? Is disgusting, must have learned from Alonso!

Last of all penalty appeal, it is certainly nothing new to us consider the number of incident from last season, we should understand unless it is obvious foul and actually being seen clearly by the ref. without vision obstruction, we should know that unless we are the so called Big-4, and especially against one of them, we are not expected to be given when the ref. can make an excuse of not seeing it clearly, it's an un-written rule by the F.A. and P.L.!

I could say this without a doubt, it's a penalty, home supporter saw it, Fans in front of the TV saw it, ref. saw it, lines man saw it even Howard from the other side of the pitch would have felt it was a bad foul, was it intentional, do I even have to answer that question, it's not the first time in the match Carragher has made such attempt, this guy is dirty as hell and he is doing this all the time because he is getting away with it!

Well, the theory is simply isn't it the player become of what the manager wants them to, and they are learning it from the manager and rest of the player learn there diving skill off player like Alonso!
