Did he reallyI've been told that Baines is wanted by Moyes this summer, he will bid around 10 million for him. He signed a 5 year deal in 2010 June, now 2 years left on his contract, now no way we would let him be down to 2 years cos we're now in trouble. Baines must have refused a new contract.

Pretty much this all over. It's an easy story, made easier by the fact that Moyes is now at United. But it flies in the face of all evidence we've seen on this topic for the last three years.

local radio getting just as lazy as the likes of talk sport though. even the bbc thinks its fine to fill out time with what random people are saying on twitter. problem is if you keep saying they talk nonsense then the one time in twenty they get it right (like Moyes to Man U) then there are enough people telling you that you were stupid to think it wasn't inevitable. United rarely buy a player of his age unless desperate, Moyes will be very reluctant to give the fans anything to use against him, and then there is the usually ignored point that we don't have to sell anyone under contract if we don't want to, and tend not to unless it looks like it will probably suit us. with a London/Manchester biased media this will go on all summer and one thing I do like about Martinez is that he sees the media for what it is, and will ignore it. We need to, until its comfirmed and not just lazy page filling nonsense, or maybe even a way of keeping betting markets ticking over. I am a typical pessimistic blue and I think Baines is here for life
No way Baines would go for £10m, would be nearer £20m if he was to go. In which case i'd reinvest some of it in Shaw, who i really like the look of and is still extremely young. As much as i like Baines, i wouldn't too unhappy with that tbh

I'm glad a lot of you are not worried about this rumour. Baines is much better then Evra. Moyes is a massive fan of him. He got two years left on his contract and will be cheaper if Baines tells the board he not renewing. Are some of you saying Moyes wont want him or Baines wont go there?
