Remember Tark's penalty V Leeds? Hands behind his back, apparently it was a penalty because he leaned towards the ball. That was much less of a penalty than the Burnley one.. I'm not sure what the answer is almost every hand ball is debatable (Except for O'Brien V Arsenal).. They are going to have to sort it out it's beyond a joke, Maybe any contact below the elbow is given regardless of proximity or arm position, above the elbow is not an infringement as you cant hide that area behind your back when defending. Currently it's far too easy for the idiots in charge of VAR to influence games.

If you get that -which makes perfect sense -how can they show bias .There is no way they will allow their influence to be "molested" for the sake of lower / unfavoured teams .

1st question in the Brentford presser was about the panel saying we should have had a pen vs Arsenal and what was his thoughts on it…… he gave the most insipid, passive reply possible, basically they’re doing their best and it’s swings and roundabouts. Nothing about the hand ball (on another day / another badge) against Forest.
Just wait until the next one that actually costs us and he’s seething about referees inconsistency…

Moyes has never been any different and it makes zero difference to us as a club, he thins by bitting his lip and saying they have a hard job and hopefully it will even out( it never does ). That refs will look favourably on us, well they don’t David and your 13 years at the club should tell you that. I’ve mentioned the Andy Johnson situation before and that was the proof needed. I hope one day we become a club that doesn’t just accept every poor decision

He will whinge about it though, when he wants an excuse. He’s already mentioned decisions that we don’t get (think it was pens funnily enough) so when offered a tap in a presser I find it annoying he doesn’t jump on. Doesn’t have go over board, but anything to highlight the inconsistency and absence of penalties we get compared to those that are given against us would do. Just a bit of food for thought for the officials.
