Bad ref decisions - for and against - season 2025/26

This is the worst decision I have seen in a long long time...reminds me of the Niasse red card.

If it's not violent conduct, it's not a red. It's not serious foul play, spitting, DOGSO or abusive language or gestures.

Alright, not sure about the gradation in England, just a hair pull generally is considered as a red. There are few examples, Romero, Jack Stephen or that woman in the Euros.

When something like this goes against us, it's always important to ask would this happen to Liverpool at Anfield or United at Old Trafford? The answer is always no.

I'd ban VAR from showing the replays in slow motion too. Show the incident in real time exactly how it looks.

One of theirs took a quick free kick near the halfway line with about three minutes to go and he let them take it again never even entered his head to book the player.

I can maaaaaybe see the hairpull but frankly, if we're just throwing intent completely out the window the game is totally gone. He's clearly trying to pull his shirt, the fact that the referee can't attribute common sense is mental to me.

Then off the back of this incompetence, Grealish is justly frustrated, and how dare he question the mighty authority of the referee, you can get sent off too. You'll never convince me it's not rigged, they just don't even care to hide it. Other teams get awarded offside goals frequently and teams like us constantly get things like this, and this is after they introduced video technology and a whole extra layer of refereeing.

Doesn't exactly take the world's biggest conspiracy theorist to connect the dots. Probably not much point watching this sport anymore, or at least we might as well throw on some wrestling too while we're at it, just as "real".

One of the poorest red card decisions i have seen in quite sometime. Violent conduct my ass. Get your hair cut or expect it to be grabbed. No common sense from the officials.

Keane's red is the problem with VAR. It looks worse in slow motion than what it actually is.

I'm sure little things like that happen all the time in every game. It was a little hair pull b/c his hand was there, but it wasn't like he pulled it with excessive force warranting serious foul play
