Maybe I am losing it but do other clubs in Europe not have a separate special European Jersey to increase revenue from shirt sales?
All we do is European printing and we cant even do that right by the sounds of things here. Shambles we are in that side.
Very few clubs have an actual European kit. A lot of teams will treat their 3rd shirt as a European away but as for individual designs it is very rare now.

Good point Kiwi. I am thinking that the "let's not bother , its not worth the effort" mentality applies to a lot of focus within our marketing and merchandising side at the club.
Always feel like we fail massively at this side of things. I don't mean the international or global size ventures like somehow reaping rewards of Tim Howard's exploits in the World Cup as I don't believe you can just do that in the U.S without serious serious moolah and connections and contracts but I just mean simple things like being able to buy a feckin jersey online or having other sizes than Small Junior and XXXXL in the club shop for 6 months of the season.
They go hand in hand for mine. The board sorts out kit distribution => more sales => better selling point to companies looking to sponsor us due to the greater exposure. But honestly, me and several other blues on here basically drafted up a comprehensive marketing strategy for one of the threads which the club could have started pre wc to build on the NBC PL coverage and growth of the PL in the US, and yet the club has utterly bombed with regards to expanding the clubs reach both pre and post world cup, despite the gift horse of Mr T. How.

We complained about Nike last year but this year who is to blame. If it is kitbag surely they are in breach of their contract. We ditched Nike but not the supplier. I know we are tied into a long term contract, but if they are in breach of it maybe we can get out of it. Just imagine the extra shirt sales we could have expected this week at our 2 stores alone with the signing of eto'o. But when you have a board with a business plan like ours, who caved into kitbag in an 'exclusive' deal. What do you expect. I really feel some non everton related people, just don't realise how big a club we are sometimes.

I can only assume that demand is unusually high for the 14/15 shirt. I'm not privy to the details, but I assume that Kitbag control every element of the merchandizing--from evertondirect.com to the quantity of stock, etc. The home shirts have been selling out of stock frequently--are not all sizes now sold out from Men's to SB/MB to Women's? I assume this change in demand might be hard to predict, but if you're outsourcing to a third party I would hope they'd be able to sort it out.

*It seems the SB/MB/Women's shirts are in stock again, but previously were on backorder to 1/9 and 5/9.

If this [Poor language removed] hadn't been happening every year since I can remember then I would say it was unbelievable - as it is it is only to be expected. Heads should roll really.

I sent an email to the customer services (customer.services@evertondirect.evertonfc.com) enquiring about getting the European shirt printing with my own name and number. I have been told its not possible because.

"we can only print the Europa league printing with the players print as this comes as a player block. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Im gonna ask in the shop (Everton two) when I am there next week, it seems a bit poor to me, hopefully they will help me out.

Also noticed on the email that they are using last years badge, which is pretty poor.

Last year's badge on this year's European shirt??
Surely not. That would be a disgrace of amateur hour proportion!
Are you sure?

I think for the euro printing it's always been just players. I have a silver printed Cahill CL top, couldn't have my own name :/
