Away Ticketing

There has been some ruptures amongst Twitter regarding Everton's away ticketing structure with the vast majority asking for it to be put back to the old way of ticket stubs attached to a sheet. My personal opinion is that it works well the way it is now. Season ticket holders with 6+ aways to start with is fair in my opinion. The old method was probably useful before we had Internet and phone options and a person who gets his tickets bought for him a number of times could have a sheet full while a season ticket holder has none.

Keep it the way it is I say.

Another thing I want to bring up is people who have season tickets, buy away tickets and sell them just to build up their numbers so they can go to Utd away or anfield etc. It's not illegal, I just think it's immoral as these same people won't be at WBA away on a Monday night in January and neither will half the people who have got United tickets, not been to a game all season. I have nothing against people who pick their games but for me personally, there's no extra incentive to see United away than WBA away, for me it's about watching Everton play football.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

Fair points, Didn't know that many do that though.

When you go away regular you get used to seeing the same kites a lot.

Gutted I have done many for the last two seasons.

The only thing I think they could do is stagger it down a bit better. As in +6, +5, +4, +3, and so on. Other than that the system is fair I'd say.

I buy tickets for most away games and sell some of them. Not because i want to, i'd love to go to every game, but i can't afford to buy a season ticket and go to every away match. Think i bought tickets for about 11 aways last season and went to 7.

Agree with the above that it shouldn't jump down 2 credits at a time, should just go down one at a time on a daily basis.

Yes the system is fair but to do it 6,5.4.3,2.1 they'd have to go from 6 on a Monday to 5 Tuesday 4 Wednesday 3 Thursday Etc.

There's a bit of uproar with tickets at the moment but there's no other way to do it. A lot of our fans who go the aways aren't season ticket holders, most season ticket holders seem happy enough with the home games and don't bother with aways.

Its pretty much fine as it is, there might be ruptures on Twitter because some missed out on United but i dont recall the same rupture once the Palace and Villa allocations sold out? even Cardiff went quick.

Just be happy its not like it was 15 years ago when a lot of away tickets just seemed to end up with those who have a close connection to someone "at the club". Them same people on Twitter unhappy still wouldn't get away tickets with the old way either, back in the day away stubs often went on ebay for a quid or so and a full sheet wasnt that hard to collect.

Like I said I think its fair as it is. If its too onerous to stagger it down by 1 credit at a time (time factor etc) then fair enough. Its only a suggestion. Personally I can only get to about 4 aways a season anyway. Those who pay their money to go to all or most aways deserve their priority. I'd rather go to Villa or WBA than Old trafford or Anfield anyway.

I'm a season ticket holder and luckily got a ticket for Norwich away before they sold out - haven't had a sniff of a ticket for any away game since because they sold out before I became be eligible (only able to get one away last season.)

I don't think it is 'fair play' to buy tickets on your client number with the only intention of selling it straight away, just so you build up your game credits.

Also its unlikely I'm going to benefit from the money off away tickets we are doing for the next few games. The powers would have been better to use that money to try secure more tickets from our opponents.

You spend the money, it's your ticket to do what you like with, imo.
