Hi there.

So I'll be immigrating to Australia in a couple of months. So among other things, I was thinking how would I get to watch Everton live on TV in Oz? Apart from searching for live streams, do I have to subscribe to certain channels? Heard something about getting Optus which shows some PL games so far.

So just thought if there are some Aussie Evertonians here, they could have a better clue what's the best way to watch Everton down under.

Thanks!

Where in Oz? My son lives in Sydney and goes out to watch the games at some unearthly hour of the day. If you're in that area I can put you in touch - but Oz is a massive place, so narrow it down a bit.

I see myself in Melbourne in the long run but I'll be moving to Sydney initially. I'll be in the Silverwater or Paramatta region as I know a few people there. Timings would be very odd for the games I know cos of the 9 hour time difference. Sure mate, would be nice to catch up with a fellow blue. :)

Sbs is a free channel which shows one game per week. Surprise surprise it's usually Liverpool.

Optus is a phone company so to get the blues games you'll need to get an Optus mobile or landline package. They have minimum costs to enable you to get the footy. So you can't buy a pay as you go sim and get access to the premier league.

I think they've got the rights for 2 more years but could be wrong.

If you want to catch highlights without paying try 'footylight' app.

Australia is brilliant. Try living in a few different cities as they are all very unique.
