Attending the Dallas Cup this week

@everton: 90' Boos ring out around the stadium as Dyson is brought down but no foul is given. The young Blues are giving everything here. 0-1. #EFCU19

@everton: FT: #EFCU19 0-1 Coritiba. The young Blues exit the Dallas Cup at the semi-final stage after Da Silva's 34th-minute strike. Report to follow.

Hard luck lads, at least it was valuable experience.

No doubt some of these will come good. All in all, impressive showing from your lot but I think the better side won tonight.

Game got stretched when you were chasing it the last 15 and made for some excitement on both ends.

You really offered nothing up top tonight. Henen was dreadful and Brewster was a disaster when he came on. Tall, lanky #9 did some good things in the last 15 or so.

I've been watching this tournament for 20 years and there have been world class players come through and I can honestly say none of them impressed me as much as Ledson. This kid is the real deal and will come good for you. Not sure how soon due to the position he plays but to me he is ahead of where Barkley was 3 years ago - meaning he influences the match more. Only negative thing I can say about him is he kind of has a Slippy...err Stampy G walk to him that I wish he would work on.

Pleasure speaking with you all over the tournament - best of luck.

Yeah, it was pretty hostile towards the end. Random fans + Evertonians were booing as the time ticked down. I was standing in the concourse watching it all play out.

Oh well, they made us proud this week here in Dallas. Tons of quality coming through the academy.

Skip to 1:35, also worth noting that he also scored in this game and this was almost a year before the team won the euros. So he has got his slip out of the way early.

Thanks for your updates mate.

Really like Ledson so very glad he generally impressed and hopefully speak to you next year with Davies and those still eligible returning to try again. Or perhaps stick around the forum, Evertonian or not it is nice to chat with those interested in the game.

I'll definitely stick around and I've always held Everton as my second team and have even more reason to like them now.

These kids are pure class as well - more than half of them walked to the stands and shook hands with all 3 of my nutter kids.

My son is desperatley hoping to see your boys at the final so he can get a picture with them. He got a picture with Januzaj 2 years ago and said to me tonight..."maybe Ledson will get in the first team after he takes a picture with me - just like Adnan did." He fancies himself some kind of good luck charm.

We need all the good luck we can get mate - buy him an Everton shirt and at least it will help with the transfer kitty ;)
