Sorry but the best atmospheres I've experienced at home, have been when the crowd have been angry about something, and that snarl and menace turns to utter violent lunancy when we score and then win.
Most of those games had large moments of simmering trepidation, and nervousness, but the crowd came alive together with a dangerous intent against the oppostion, a player or the ref for certain moments in the games.
We have to get really on board with anger at something during the game. Anything else just turns into another game with the crowds apathy taking over, as people lose attention, and slope off for early pints etc
