Atmosphere at Goodison

They had an attacking play that, for no reason, went back to Howard. I'd be fuming if i were there too. Too many times it just goes back for no discernable reason. Whatever happened to the team that played pretty fn boss week in and out last season? Same players ffs!

I wasn't at the game therefore won't jump on my high horse but there are far too many people who go to goodison now and expect brilliant barca-style football for the duration of every game and if they don't get it just moan and whinge. If it annoys you that much just don't go

Some fans giving others stick for getting annoyed at the constant passes back to Howard. The players need to get the message, passing it around in our own half counts for F all and it's plain terrible to watch. They can't expect fans to feel energetic watching that tedious crap. And if giving them a bit of grief and booing them, as harsh as it might seem, makes them get that message then good. We were just seeing out the game there and that's understandable, but doing it when we're chasing a game, as we did against Hull, Spurs and City, is infuriating and fans rightfully get annoyed by it. Needs to be knocked on the head.

People using the high and mighty "would you rather go back to the Moyes style" as a defence. Give over, as tedious as it often was under Moyes at least we didn't look like we were scared to pass forwards.

Tonight was a step in the right direction, but things still aren't anywhere near perfect and fans won't be fully back onside until it is.

The backpass to Howard was in the 86th minute. Considering the Arsenal game I was happy for a bit of measure. I was wondering in the back of my head if Zamora would get a hattrick. It's been this sort of season
