Superb performance overall, unlucky not to get 6 despite the fact that Villa were never going to be as bad in the 2nd half as they were in the 1st.
Stand out players for me were Gibson, Pienaar and Coleman when he came on. Great to see Jela on the scoresheet and Mirallas looks like he could be boss. Honourable mention for Naismith as well who fitted in nicely.
Contrast this with this time last year and it's amazing what competition for places can do to a team.
ok apologies to howard if it took a deflection, still one of the poorer keepers in the league, not that there are many good ones though. this is massive notice to maoning kopites aswell:

We lost a bit of solidity when Gibson went off but we where always in control, keeping the ball on the deck and trying to break them down. Villa aren't great and we'll come across much tougher challenges but it's just pleasing to see us attempting to play football. Gibson, Osman and Fellaini has a nice look to it...
