If we had a full squad to choose from we would certainly have a chance against Villa, however the players we have available really are no match for them. Their midfield will overrun ours. I seen an article entitled “Should Everton change their transfer strategy “ I didn’t read it as we don’t seem to have a transfer strategy. I have a two year old grandson and oft he will say to me “when are Everton going to buy a centre forward and aright back”, and he can’t formulate sentences.

Moysie will go over defensive and kitap1, hope it works, but emery is on a different level to our gaffer, and Davey has been out-thought and out-coached by footballing luminaries Scott Parker, Keith Andrew’s and Rob Edwards recently.

KDH, Jack, Dibling, Ndiaye, Garner and McNeil can all ping a ball in.

They can all cross. But many of them stand facing the defender, wiggling their toes, pretending they are going to dribble, then when the defence gives them the nod that they are fully set, have everyone marked, they finally put it in.

Almost every time Grealish has put a very early ball in this season we have scored. Yet he still mostly holds onto it waiting for Garner so he can tee him up for a thunderbolt. Playing for City it was all about transitions and avoiding low% passes and crosses. With our current lack of quality around the box, it should have been going in early and fast way more often.

Will improve with our full squad back.

Dour 0-0 would be a great result here. Amazing turnaround for them as they were terrible at HD.
