Just watching a clip from the tonight show saying ther eis evidence 2 weeks prior , trump was putting pressure on the secret service to be part of the rally as he publically said after that point.
So if that is factual, could trump then be prosecuted for treason and potentially sent to prison?

Hard to see him ever doing any time, he's gotten away with pretty much everything He's ever done criminally and there's a lot.
There was evidence of his treason during the second impeachment trial, and all but 7 republican senators voted to Acquit.
Our country is so broken, this guy will never experience any repercussions for his actions.

I'd imagine things will be different now. If this hearing does have concrete evidence as Steven Colbert says (is that his name?) And it's found he was completely at fault for what happened (he was quoted in saying march on the captial as well on live TV)
Has to be treason. Doesn't matter who he is or was, it's treason against the country. Have to try him for that , if the capital riot is such a big deal.
America's one chance to apply some culpability for a politicians actions if it's proven to be true.
Fox News is literally not showing any of this. Think about that. A supposed news organization that 40% of America watches is NOT EVEN COVERING the hearings.
The "right" has successfully created an alternate reality. 40% of our populace cannot be swayed to believe Trump and his administration did ANYTHING wrong.

that i do have to say works both ways. fox news most probably covers things that other news stations choose not to cover as well. From what i have seen, the american media is completely bias, depending on which news channel you switch on. Whereas in the uk there may be a bias spin on a story but the story is still reported.
Popularity politics is a better name for it. All i have seen for a couple of years now is news reported based on the perspective of the person reporting it. As an extension of that, different opinions have become right and wrong opinions, again depending on stance but that is veering off in a slightly different avenue.
point being, no news outlet in america is reliable. Saying x is reporting it but not Y works both ways for different things. there was a great example of that in the run up to the election even. People really shouldn't buy into x news station because, to borrow a term, turns people into sheep. think for yourself, we shouldn't be pushing things left and right because it isn't as black and white as that.
This is a lazy "both sides" argument.
The American non-right wing media still tells the news. It may slant left, but it's still news. And to many more liberal countries like in Europe, many won't see them as slanting left at all. In fact, many of us over here get very frustrated with the non-right wing media for "normalizing" and "both sidesing" issues when it's not warranted. Because they are trying to tell "both sides" of a story, when one side is just telling lies.
Fox News, and worse, doesn't even report the news.

That is a lazy stance as well, my side tells the news , the other side don't.
Not everything is lies, sometimes a difference of opinion on a subject is perfectly valid. Dismissing it as wrong or lies or whatever else is the real danger ther days. Shutting down an entire side of a discussion because you don't agree with it.
Going with the motion that fox news doesn't report any news , maybe it doesn't. Does it not have news bulletins like a UK news channel has? I can't say I have ever stuck it on to watch it.
They are literally not showing or reporting on the biggest news story, by any objective definition, in the US right now.
It's because it's not the "news" their base wants to see.
Isn't that concerning, from a "news" source?
