One their way out the chamber many Republicans made an effort to approach Goodman to acknowledge him and say thanks. It would be nice for them, the party of law and order, to show some real appreciation towards the horror some of these Capitol police endure by voting to convict Trump.

"Toings and froings" and "kerfuffle" - whether that's about the riot or the dispute over the charges brought against Trump - that's a flagrant downplaying of the import of the insurrection.
He's an educuted fool. He has no grasp of diplomacy or what's appropriate...which is what made him the worst Foreign Secretary in modern history.

Nancy really needs to shuffle off into retirement - all that guarantees is endless statements of the obvious, and it could very well interfere with criminal investigations.
Open an inquiry into what public money Trump sent the way of his businesses instead; that would be both easier to prove and much more difficult for the Cruz / Hawleys of this world to object to.
Whilst it is bound to get politicized personally think that a 9/11 style commission is a good idea as there was clearly a failure at multiple levels of government, not just Trump. Think the conflict with criminal investigations is something that can be managed, especially as they have quite a head start.
Would also support second paragraph one as well mind!

Like to see both of them things being done together tbh, plus a look into his taxes and the threatening behaviour towards his own governors, especially Georgia.
