There will be words but in reality they were transitioning from one location to another and during these periods, or the end of deployments, digs can be scarce.
While the whole situation is not ideal, my point is the reality of the situation isn't too uncommon nor is it severe in the grand scheme of what they could face.
Countless soldiers have lived in pretty cramp and awful conditions for periods over in NI (XMG, Bessbrook et al.), Kosovo and pretty much any deployment.
Fly back from the Falklands? You're one of the lucky ones if you get to sleep under a vehicle for the fifteen hour flight as at least you can stretch out.
The sqaddies will have been annoyed, more so as they're not regulars, and in reality they shouldn't be in that situation, but it's not a major issue except for PR.
