Of course. People like the guy with the hockey stick earlier should be prosecuted. But Biden has a tough job on his hands and imo Pelosi really isn’t helping. She causes, creates and maintains division, a period of silence from her would do the world of good. If she offered her own resignation ‘as part of a healing process’ Biden might just stand a chance...but she won’t, she will drip poison every day....

Half the Republicans peddled the lie that Trump won the election, even after the Capitol assualt and are still refusing to admit they were wrong and it helped incite the attack yet the only resignation you want “as part of the healing process“ is Pelosi?! Gtfo

Trump was a pillock, and I’ve said so many times in these threads, but he has gone. The other side of this vindictive coin is Pelosi. Biden appears genuine in wanting to reconcile the population and he will need help in doing so. If the USA government were a business, Pelosi would be silenced and retired for the good of the business.....

Trump has gone, the authorities will deal with any lawbreakers. Biden can raise any issue he wishes from a position of great power. It does not require Pelosi to keep harping away. But hey, you guys obviously love her, but as someone with no axe to grind one way or the other but wants to see a United populace, I’d get shut of her.......

But it isn’t, it’s a government charged with responsibilities in many areas, some of which conflict. Reconciliation v Justice for example. Are you suggesting that those involved in rampaging through the Congress should not face trial in case reconciliation is harmed. People are going to say harsh things in the same way that they have been said for years. Tough love for some on the right I suspect.

I suspect if your colleagues had sent a mob your way that, to quote one of them "Crazy Nancy probably would have been torn into little pieces.", and those co-workers hadn’t even stopped the claims that incited the attacks let alone apologized you would be a tad upset yourself.

You certainly seem to be “harping away” about Pelosi given far less provocation.

I believe in law and order. I don’t care what side of a political spectrum or cause a person comes from. Anyone committing violence or involved in destruction of property or theft should feel the full force of the law. There are however instances around the world where people guilty of heinous crimes have been allowed free or free from prosecution for the benefit of healing. That is but one element. Another is that the so called ‘sensible politicians’ do absolutely nothing further to aggravate the situation, be the bigger man, or in this case woman........
