Is a staggeringly sobering statement of fact... until Jags is fit or Williams gets injured, he's a fixture in the line-up.

That's what really angers me.
You could see we where crying out for 2 possibly even 3 Centre Halves. We bought Keane. Even buying Mee would have made sense to play alongside him.
We sold Lukaku thus we needed to revamp the entire defence and attack at once.
That was absolutely criminal by Everton.
Faith was put in Koeman and he appears to have failed and looks disinterested.
We are potentially back to the crisis of Smith days.
After years of steady construction under Moyes, when we finally do have money to spend we splurge it all on one paced dross. Martinez bought some duds and Koeman has applified the issue.

Defended him last season, but now he's hit the level of poor that people were (incorrectly IMO) claiming he was last season.
Problem is, now he's directly costing us goals and showing some bizarre decision making, really not the time when you have a youngster next to you.
