I rather he hoofs it than passing for the sake of it. What is the point of putting the team in danger around the box? Just silly that is and it means awful defending.

Average defender. I personally think we need two, rather than one quality centre half in the summer. Jags will more than likely be gone and Williams and Mori aren't good enough to be starters for a team with aspirations of breaking the top 4.

Mori and Williams should be back ups.

Williams, a solid player in his day, I feel was more a plug signing, to stop the leak in the defense. For Koeman to make an early splash as Swansea was looking to rebuild. He is a leader and had a decent career. Him and Jags should be more or less mentors to the youth. More Holgate, and young players in the back, groom them for premier football. Coleman keep at RB and groom him for captainship of the future. Top diamond that lad. Will be a staple in the Everton defense for Years.

People say Williams and Mori aren't good enough, yet we have one of the best defenses in the league LMAO. Bournemouth will score goals because they are a brave side that throw the kitchen sink at you in times of desperation. With our club's aspirations, we should definitely aim for more quality. Having said that, I think it is a tad harsh to call Williams or Mori terrible as they have been very solid up until yesterday's game. And yes, Mori can be a calamitous clown at times, but he does make great tackles and isn't as bad as people make him out to be. He is similar to Distin.


Also: people complain about Baines and Coleman being terrible defenders, but apparently Mori and Williams are turd sandwich as well. HOW DOES OUR DEFENSE EVEN FUNCTION IF THEY ARE ALL CRAP? How do we have a top ten defense if all our defenders wear clown shoes?
