Isolated incident but why do our kick-offs go back to him only to be launched upfield to nobody.
Past 3/4 games we've done that and loose any control over the ball, juat allowing the opposing teams the chance to set the tempo.
Generally speaking the first 15 mins of either half is a sighter. We came out second half and inside 30 secs had pumped it long and wide - invited Liverpool on, an and just sat back.
Surely we can come up with a better routeen to start/restart the game/half then that.
And its no coincidence we have a habit of conceding in quick succession, its the same routeen when we kick off after going a goal behind. Ball to Williams, launch it long, allow opposing team to get on the ball, so on so forth. It was fortunate the ref had the stop the game after we restarted from Mane's goal, given the same routeen happened and the ball was to nobody.
Probably a pointless post and overly long over something so isolated. But its happened in numerous games now, for a player who came from a footballing Swansea side it doesn't make sense why youd revert to kids football - which is probably derogatory of kids football, given they're learning the game.
