He was responsible for the free kick that led to their goal. It was a wicked deflection that could've gone anywhere. It's not like he watched a man run past him, or played a lazy short back pass that was intercepted. That is 'to blame'. But I feel it harsh to blame someone for the opposition blasting it at you and getting a lucky bounce.
