Jags had been a great player for us and a good captain. Not his fault that your idol bought in a load of school boys with zero leadership quality. As things stand there is still no candidate in the squad better suited.
Jagielka wont be misses at all. He's a nothing player. No aerial ability, no real passing ability. He got a good block in now and then and that's about it.

2 year deal?! the echo reporting 4 year deal? ........ i'm going to say 3 year deal then based on the reliability of both sources there!

the initial offer last week to Williams was a four year deal (whether that was 3 with an option remains to be seen).

Are you ranieri?

Premier League winning manager Claudio Ranieri?

There are worse people to be compared to I suppose

It's amazing to think that having speed down the wing and crossing the ball into the box is almost a tactical novelty these days

It would suit us perfectly, especially with Koeman's pressing defensive play

Press the opposition, get the ball, hold onto it in the middle, get it onto the wing, put crosses into the box and Ross hoovers everything that drops into his area just outside the box

...it's a simple game

He was magnificent going forwards better than Baines he was keeping him out of the team until injury!

Galloway was poor going forward, he got through a couple of times but even Hibbo managed that. he was similiar to Hibbert in that he would go to a point and then turn back, deffo more a defending left back than attacking. it was his first season and he was thrown in so I wouldn't hold it against him, but he is more of a centre back than a left back.
A year in the Championship will make or break him, much better than sitting on our bench, and I doubt he would make the bench with these defenders were after.
