That FA Cup win flattered him massively. Arsenal have a improved since he replaced Emery but only marginally, yet a few months the media were literally saying a revolution was underway and he'd have them challenging again very soon. Deserves at least a full season before any sort of proper judgement can be made, talk of him being under pressure already is just silly.
If he get them back in the top 6 this season (big if but possible I think) then it has to go down as a success. Even top 8 with another trophy would have to be graded as a pass. It will take years for them to rebuild, though I do think it's too big a job for a novice like him. Even if he is sacked eventually he'll probably come out of it with enough credit that another top half PL or La Liga club will give him a go.
