..went for Gueye, his standard 7/10 performance.

The game was so predictable, the outcome won’t surprise anybody. We weren’t unlucky, we were inefficient and we have to turn things around. We look like conceding and it’s inevitable in games we will. The game is about what we do with the football and what we do without the football. We don’t defend or look organised when we don’t have the football (as @LinekersLegs posted after West Ham).

I think Arsenal played EL on Thursday (might have that wrong), they seemed in 2nd gear. It’s as though they knew what we knew. Before the game @Nymzee hinted at being a bit more positive, but the performances and results need to inform that. We can’t be positive for positives sake, we are folk who watch our team and want better.

Last week Hammers picked up their first point against Everton.

They also picked up their first win.

This week Arsenal kept their first clean sheet against us.

I hioe to heck Fulham have no ducks they need to break :(

Cheers Andy, positive for me was for once we have actually gone to one of these "Big" teams and actually tried to win the game,Richarlison was good again,Digne likewise, thought most of them were 7/8's out of 10,Calvert-Lewin was again found wanting,I felt if Richarlison or even Walcott had played through the middle there's a good chance we could have been celebrating a victory tonight but a worldy and yet another rank decision have cost us, just got to take the positives into a must win game v Fulham now.

Big step up today from the last few weeks. The defending was noticeably better and more organised even from set pieces. The pressing from the front from the off unsettled Arsenal and they could not get into their stride; they looked a bit shell-shocked at our approach tbh. Undone by a class finish and poor refereeing. Many positives to take from the game. Gueye MOM as he bossed the midfield in the first half.

Surprised at that Eggs, you are usually much more positive yourself, Imthought we deserved something from that game, the Arsenal keeper was voted man of the match, he certainly saved them on occasions. I'm unhappy we lost but I can definitely see a huge improvement in the team, more aggression and a more positive attitude, lack of a goalscoring striker will continue to frustrate us, but that will be sorted in the coming transfer windows and I can see us improving as
the Brands / Siva partnership gets the squad made stronger and the performances get better in the near future.

I hate Tosun. Don’t have the words to express just how poor he is. Completely worthless.

All things considered; very positive, and obvious that we are just a CF from competing with the top 6.

He's having a bad time and is low on confidence. He absolutely doesn't warrant your hatred mate. He's a lad who works incredibly hard but it's not happening for him atm. Let's not set fire to him.

..every time the ball was played into our box we looked at sixes and sevens. I suppose it’s abour prioritisation but unless we can defend as a unit then we will succumb to the inevitable. Not sure about you, but I watched that game knowing what was going to happen.

We look fragile, the game was too nice. We lack resilience.

Jeez, well this is Everton That! on permanent repeat. Just wish we could have more than 60 minutes of a game (this was true at Bournemouth, home to Saints (we hung on) and today in particular).. one day we will put those chances away and won't get done by a great finish and a miles-offside-game-killer.. we might have had a chance but for yet another episode of "Everton screwed in the ass by a bad official".

But we're not playing too badly. Let's make it count in the next 4 games fhs.

I thought we played well and were the better team. They scored a good goal and an offside goal which killed the game. I’m pleased with the way we played.....
