Im pretty sure hes had plenty of help over the years.

Some people are beyond help, it might sound heartless, but I cant feel sorry for somebody who has pissed millions up a wall, sorry, I just cant.

Very sad, I wonder what Arsenal's response is to this?

I do believe that clubs (including Everton) have a responsibility to their past employees - remember they are exploiting young men, albeit with huge amounts of cash - they have a responsibility beyond their playing career.

I think workers on the minimum wage are being exploited far beyond any level that a top flight football player is during his career. If you're gonna feel sorry for someone, feel sorry for them.

With the greatest of respect, but I wish I was getting exploited for a few grand a week.

Perhaps, though its rarely the clubs that get players hooked on gambling and alcohol.

Goat has stated the most truth on this thread, any money that the EFPF would have spent on Sansom should be put towards helping local kids through university.

He was a sex pest who slotted everything behind his wife's back without at least having the courtesy to pretend he was a milkman. He had the good life but wasn't averse to being a tit to others so I have limited sympathy.

My point is that exploitation takes place at both ends of the spectrum, not only amongst the masses on minimum wage - Kenny Samson was exploited for his ability, his skills, whilst he was a player, because the cost of employing him was less than the value of having him in the team. Same applies to those on minimum wage albeit the calculation is not done on an individual basis but collectively cost v productivity.....

True, business is exploitation at every level, otherwise no one would make any money.

When you employ people they have to generate more than you pay them. On that basis everyone is exploited but Kenny Sansom would have earned far more money that 95% of people in the country.

I'm not gonna feel sorry for him being exploited when the vast majority of people are exploited far more.

Think when Rooney gets jibbed from the England set up, were gonna witness a meltdown of biblical porortions.

I can him involved in many a paparrazzie spats in Londin brazzers gaffs
