Theres no problem in losing a match and Arsenal were better no doubt, but the performance in the first half was unacceptable with the 2nd half not much better.

some players had an off day. especially besic. it happens.

I can't recall anything that went against us and I won't claim it was anything to do with the ref.

We were awful.

Watch it again mate. Tripped at first then Funes Mori sticks his leg across him and doesn't touch the ball. Sure Sanchez makes the most of it but he's been hit by two tackles in the box and neither have got the ball. That's a pen.

I'm never ashamed and indeed am privileged to support the best club in the world, but that was a tough watch. Very very tough.

I know a lot of people said that but personally didn't agree - thought we'd looked at lot better defensively since the turn of the year and thought we were the superior team in virtually all the games.

I must admit that over the course of the season I've been painfully dragged towards the 'Martinez out' camp. However, I can't see how anyone can say that this performance is all on the manager.
On one hand, Martinez has supposedly proved that he can't organise a defence and is tactically inept. Therefore we can't really blame him for not doing his job well if he's simply not up to it. It's the board's job to remove him.
On the other hand, these players have definitely proved that they can pass, move, create chances and fight for a result. So why haven't they done that today.

Please spare me the replies that Martinez has sucked the fight out of them with his ineptitude as I'll be sorely tempted to throw a cup at my computer screen. Much as I hate football at the moment, my computer serves me well for other things and I can't afford a new screen.

Zero on pitch leadership.

Jagielka should be rallying the players....seen it so many times this season from him.

We need a Keane/Adams/Terry leader.

There was contact mate, if Sanchez had gone down right away at the contact it was a nailed on pen, reason why he didn't get it was because Sanchez thought about staying on his feet, then dived.

If you sit and work out the formation by the end it has absolutely no structure to it
