Not sure why some are being overly dramatic tonight? Arsenal are clearly a better squad than us over the course of the season, table doesn't lie. Personally I felt we deserved at least a draw but simply can't give a kid with that much talent that much space to pick a pass and Pickford should of have done better. Just proves again the fine margins in this league.

Regardless, I am not going to lose sleep over it, on to the next. Thought Tim was superb, my MotM.

Watching that game shows how desperate we are for a bit more pace throughout the team. They were so much quicker to the ball than we were most of the time.
Thought overall we did not bad for 70 mins or so, even had a few chances, but then it all seemed to go a bit downhill after that, we just ran out of steam. Unlucky tbf.

We never converted our chances again, a familiar problem. We played well and deserved something from it. Next season two fullbacks and a CF will really help our cause.

To a degree yes though I think too much emphasis is put on pace in general. But Moyes teams as I say are functional which relies more on physicality and tactical discipline rather than transition and rapid counters

Oh yeh, definitely a massive gulf in ability on the ball as you'd expect. Take Ndiaye out of the team and it's really not great, hence constantly setting up to keep it tight and fluke a goal somehow.

Or you could just say Ndaiye's great.

We'd played well that game to.

Drove me mad that game and was live on sky the Monday night. I did not remember the year. It's always funny when you see a game then realise it was a lot,lot longer ago than you would imagine.

I when we get into the final 10mins if leading, always think we will concede to draw. If level, always think we will lose late. If losing, just think that's it

Reckon one of those chances in first half go in, they defend that for at least a draw.
Where Tim and JOB made the difference in the difference, KDH had an off day for the same. Arsenal kept KDH out of it.
Gana, Garner and Myko played the sweeping defensively btwn lines with timing the moment of place to play. Played the squeeze near perfect.
