Dominated them for 40 minutes, then they create the best two chances of the half. Annoying thing is it only started when Lukaku didn't get that foul.

Superb fluency right up until the crucial pass which never quite seems to materialise. But this team has only been playing together for half a season, so who knows where we could end up?

Outstanding first half. The way we distributed the ball and opened up arsenal was exceptional; both fullbacks look dangerous with the ball at their feet and Barkley has been phenomenal.
As the half wore on, you could feel the frustration from both sets of supporters; the way we've dominated proceedings without creating a clear cut opportunity must be amended in the second half and the arsenal fans craved for some possession. They created two great chances, from clever intricate passing and I think that a similar tempo will be adopted by Arsenal in the 2nd half. Crucial period is the last fifteen. Passing has been brilliant. Shocked with how well we've done so far but you can sense that Arsenal are going to score at some period, it's just a matter of us scoring four first!

I'd consider taking off Mirallas and drafting on Gerard; more threatening with the ball I think in the box than Mirallas and that conviction is what is letting us down. We have to take our chances and considering we look a little fatigued, we have to bring some more pace to the party, which I'm sure Arsenal will do also to exploit that tiredness.

Come on Bobby- feels like we're playing at Goodison rather than the Emirates! Let's get into them! COYB!!!

To be fair, all the Arsenal pressure started from when there was wrongly no foul given on Lukaku.

On the replay it looked like Koscielny got the ball and it pinged off Lukaku...thats why it looked like Lukaku dragged it back and koscielny just took his legs.

That's my main gripe with playing tik taki football when you don't have barcelonas players.

We're not playing tiki taki football, we're playing a possession based game. The problem has been the inaccuracy of the final ball or a poor final cross, not that we're being too elaborate.

That is pretty low down on the list of priorities to be honest.

If I was doing a review of the squad I'd say differently, but basically that is the replacement I see that can make the way we play at the moment that much better, and make us more potent.
