Here's the thing...you don't get a point away on the road by going in trying to get a point. You get it by trying to win and settling for a point.

Spot on Dawg. We've seen what playing for a draw usually gets us. As always these days we'll be playing to win.

Would be a much bigger marker where we to win, or get the better of the game, than what happened at OT.

really looking forward to the game admittedly dont want us going pass for pass with them as i think they r more comfortable doing it and the game would be far too open for my ticker and they would shade it

but aint nowt wrong with getting stuck it and catching them on the counter

COYB

Roberto will know that, mate.

He's got it sussed.

Tbh it's win win for me we win and am out streaking we take a point am made up they win it puts more distance between them and the RS so the way I see it every cloud and that.

Sod it. I've decided that if we win tomorrow that we're actually title challengers (y)

We're Everton, not some two-bit outfit, and we're back on the rise to where we belong :D

Hung over to hell on a Sunday morning here in Auckland, NZ. Listening to the sports talk radio channel and the Liverpool loving host (good guy though) just announced that they'll be broadcasting the Arsenal v Everton game at 5am tomorrow morning.
"Everton", he says, "no team would look forward to playing Everton at the moment"....made up!!

don't understand the reason behind comparing X1's, except for pissing me mates off.. I don't need to know that Coleman is better than Jenkinson since they'll probably never see each other, or that Ozil is proper class, and the best player in this game..

more important for me, who's marking Ozil? does Barry still have nightmares, cause I'd rather see McCarthy take him on in a man-marking role and Barry playing his usual role while tracking Ramsey's runs. similarly I think the other battle will be how the 2 left-backs cope defensively, that's where I see the goals coming from if we keep Ozil & Ramsey quiet.

I've just noticed that Arsenal have only conceded 1 goal in their last 7 matches (Liverpool, Dortmund, United, Southampton, Marseille, Cardiff and Hull). Given that we've kept 5 clean sheets in 6 games ourselves it could be a tight game tomorrow.

Since a long time since I've been able to look forward to a "top four game" without a feeling of dread and trepidation. Feeling optimistic we can get something out of this. 2-1 to everton, lukaku barkley and giroud. COYB!

The next month or two will define our season. Win the majority of the games in this "easy" Christmas run up, followed by a couple of good additions in January and I'm confident we'll finish top 4.

IF the things I mentioned actually happen.

If we win tomorrow I'm confident what I said will happen.

Nah. Two negatives make a positive.

Goals goals goals!
