Held the ball up well, linked ok, was a presence. Not sure what people are expecting

Maybe a goal or two? Not sure his link up play was all that much at tonight either.

To be fair I wasn't a huge fan before he came but the fellas had an awful injury and it just doesn't seem like he's over it yet either judging by how he performs when he comes on or the game time he gets.
 
I re raised this thread after the game not to criticize the player...best you all read again what I am discussing...

Now I am not going to bag the guy. He comes on as a substitute for a few minutes here and there which is not easy. We all hope and want him to come on and just score a winner that will make a difference.
Something unexpected.
But I have to say, I don't ever see him scoring a goal in a million years...

He was completely and utterly fine when he came on. He is really strong on the ball and he was bringing others in. He's more effective than Naismith as a second striker and retains the ball better thanBarkley. Just because he doesn't score in the half hour he's on the pitch he's an abject failure? Fcking bewildering stance.
