I'd like to see Kone and Lukaku given a shot up front as a pairing before either are moved on.

Their have different attributes to compliment each other, especially against the weaker teams you'd think.

He's better than you're rating him mate. He ain't pony. Vic dreams of being as good some day.

Hes alright, to be fair to the lid, but ive watched him miss so many cracking chances over his time here and I admit hes been unlucky with injuries, but I want somebody a bit better than him personally, im sure if he hadnt have got that nasty injury he would have been a decent back up at times, but hopefully his chances are limited.

Still would have started him tonight like.

I'm with you...he's had chances and hasn't taken them. That ropey first game gets a pass as I'm sure he was pressing...and like you say the injuries. We'd all love to look down the bench and see Dzeko...or Lukaku ;) ...but we ain't got da dough.

His game on the brief appearances for this club looks a bit Heskey...holds it up and gets others involved. Average to below in the finishing dept...perhaps offers a bit more than old Heskey did. Players like him though...it's easy to pan over the good for the bad.

Nice to see players getting time to prove themselves !!! Like all strikers needs a run of games to prove himself and get off the mark. Hopefully if league is safe hel get games towards last few games, hopefully to rest Rom for Europe and the final!!!

Hasn't he had about 4 games? People dismissing a player for not being Ronaldinho after 18 months out!!<<

If he had scored last night this thread would be a total k(b)one fest.

Probably about the best we can get to sit on the bench and see very little football. Even less next season with no European football on the cards!

He got a couple of chance yesterday and failed to convert. His holding up play is much better than Rom on the other hand.

He's better with his back to goal than Lukaku. Hopefully with a bit more experience, Lukaku can start to replicate that.

Not as good in front of goal but he's useful and can do a job for us.
