IMO not good enough for Everton. If he was our only striker we would be in deeper poo in the PL. To often drifted out onto the wing when he should have been in the box. Had a great chance when he hit the post, okay maybe unlucky, does not alter my opinion.

I'm going to have to disagree mate yes. His control today was excellent, he was aware of those running off of him and he put himself about a lot in the time he was on the pitch. He's yet to contribute badly to the team bar a ropey first game. He does more for the team than Lukaku does currently.

Liked what I saw again. Continues to surprise me - even thought his misses were well taken tonight overall and were pretty much the closest he could have got the ball to the goal given the way the chances came about.

Good movement, still has a bit of pace too and he's much cleverer in possession than I ever though he was.

I don't wish for an injury to Rom but I'd genuinely be interested to see how he'd fare with a proper team behind him and a proper defence against him.

i've always liked and rated him as a player, he's just not a very good finisher and sadly that's what strikers are based on. i think he'd be a great alternative as a wide striker in a front 3 of 4-3-3. would create a lot of chances.
