Are we to blame

The Gwladys St millennials going crazy lashing pints and singing dead mad in the concourse then returning to their seat dead quiet to take selfies during the match.

Hoping UEFA orders the Lower Gwladys closed for five years for Thursday night’s DISGRACE.

Always confused me that. Go mental under the stand, proper bouncing. Then get to the seats and......silence.

its the Lower Gwladys ferrets fault.

Lower Gwladys is regularly the only stand who make any noise

If the Park End were prepared to join in more then there'd be a much better atmosphere in the ground

Speaking as someone who used to sit in the main stand, you're never getting a peep out of that lot if the other stands aren't rocking as well

If the Park End followed the Lower Gwladys' lead then the rest of the ground will follow

Sound at both ends will encourage the folks sitting side on to put their Bovril's down and make some noise for the team (Said as a former member of the Bovril Brigade)

Evening lads (or morning to you I guess),

I'm a long time viewer of these forums and don't post a whole lot.

I live in Australia and have been following the boys for about 11 years now. I stay up to the early hours in the morning, dressed in my Everton clothes and cheer like I'm there at Goodoson with you (slightly quieter tho so I don't wake the mrs).

Players and managers have come and gone over the years but the masses of loyal supporters have held strong and continued to support our beloved club.

Watching the Lyon game, one thing really got me. The support just didn't sound as loud as it usually does. Yes the team as been awful this season but I just couldn't get over how quiet it was. Could hear a pin drop all the way here in Oz!
After the punch on broke out the decibels rose 100x and you could see the reaction in the players. Maybe it was due to the testosterone but I believe it was down to the crowd cheering them on.

I have a gut feeling we might win tonight, seems typical of Everton to win the matches the have no chance in. But if we are going to win, we need you all to cheer and sing as loud as you can. The players clearly have ability, they just need belief!

I've been lucky enough to go to 1 game in my life, it was a few years ago when brown shoes was in charge. We played man utd and won 3-0. I actually cried when we scored the first goal from being so happy and hearing the crowd in real life.

You are all so lucky to be able to do this on a weekly basis. All I ask is you give the lads your all in the hope they will return the favour.

This will be the turning point in our season if you do.

COYB!

Stones, Lukaku, Barkley.

3 young talents hindered, leaving or left.

Barkley's not leaving because some fans were a bit vocal in their disappointment. And I reckon the lure of CL football and trophy winning potential at huge spending ambitious clubs under two of the most successful and lauded coaches in recent history had a little more to do with Stones and Lukaku leaving rather than a few boo-boys.

An example is Fellaini - He has been hammered by the fans at OT, which can also be quiet a lot of the time, but kept on regardless and has now re-established himself as an important player under Mourinho. If fans had such an impact on players wouldn't he have left Man U?
